Google's Blogger fails at providing web content

Blogger is one of Google's properties. It seems the need to change things runs deep over there, since there has been a fundamental change to some of their pages which renders them unusable to many.

Just as an example, here's a link which is on Hacker News this evening and is hosted by Blogger:

Example page

If you have JavaScript disabled, this is what you see...

Empty tab

... nothing. Not even so much as a hint to enable JavaScript.

The entire content of the page is buried within a script container. It goes body, script, tons and tons of JS gunk, /script, /body. There's not even a noscript container anywhere in there.

Building a web log page which only renders out of scripting is just plain stupid and evil. It's simple text! It's not some kind of application!

This is the kind of stuff which flies in Mountain View these days.
